Yellow for Sunshine!

Here is a progress pic of the dollhouse. We now have to paint the foundation and ceilings to progress to the next step of assembly. The next progress pic will be of the assembled frame.

We discussed how we need to make sure each step is completed thoroughly with attention to detail. We realized we would be really disappointed after assembly if we skimped because we were tired of sanding and painting. It was good training.

Very nice attention to detail girls!

By the way mommy- nicely done on the Friday lesson connection! Horsepower and counting those 55 horses by 5s.

Oh, Alana! I am so excited and I cannot wait to see how it turns out. I think I would love this, but I can also see how it would be easy to get overwhelmed and lock yourself in a closet and try to glue on all the shingles at one time without any distractions! We'll all try to keep you from going bonkers. Okay! LOL.

It's gonna be beautiful.

On another note, I need for someone to shake me and say, "LYNN, quit changing blog themes!"

I've joined your year of the dollhouse after reading Heather's blog (we are old college friends). My niece and I just received an unfinished dollhouse this week and are excited to start. We were thinking of yellow/green combination for our house. What kit did you get?

Hi Mary! Thank you for visiting the blog. We got our dollhouse kit from Hobby Lobby with the 40% off coupon. This dollhouse was priced at 49.99 over the holidays. So we paid around $30.00.

Here is a link to the kit we purchased. http://www.simplykidstoys.com/rgtjm159.html

Glad you joined us on the journey!

Blessings to you!
