Uhhhh...Apparently I don't like to blog

or something!

So, since I last posted, we have a new president-elect. I am in the single digit weeks until I deliver our baby girl, and all the leaves are changing color and falling. So, please accept my apologies if you look for a new post regularly, and there is none.

I am always hesistant to write about little things, although those are some of the things I most enjoy on other blogs....weird!

So, here are a few little things:

We are getting some much needed rain. And it is a perfect day for beef stew. I will be making some yummy bread to go with it today.

I am looking forward to finding a little space for the baby. Mouse is hoping she will room with her, but I am sure she will be in with Andrew and I for a while.

Monkey is busy making lego creations. His current passion is submarines. I think someone may need more legos for Christmas.

Puppy is making mess after mess, and has become very bi-polar in his opinions on the baby. One day he really loves her and will love and kiss on my tummy. The other day he told me that he hates her. I just casually said, "Really, hmmm, why do you hate her?" He says, "Because she kicks me alll the time! She kicks and hits me all the time!" So, now we don't focus on her "kicking", we talk about her moving. That is a much nicer thing, wouldn't you say?

We are enjoying co-op. This is our last week until January. It will be nice to have a break, but really we love it so much that we will truly miss going.

We are working on a "kindness bouquet" at our house. We have a bunch of paper flower cutouts attached to straws, and 2 jars, one is a mason jar that holds the supply of flowers, and the other is a pretty vase to hold our boquet. Flowers are earned when a member of the family follows Christ's example in three specific areas, kindness, loving one another, and serving others. If someone is acting contrary to the example of Christ, a flower is removed from the bouquet and back into the "supply jar". If we have all the flowers in the pretty jar by Saturday at midnight, we will go to a really fun park on Monday for Family Home Evening. Monkey especially loves this activity. I am glad we found a motivator! I will let you know if we make it to the "swirly twirly" park!

Oh, and soon we will be receiving a wonderful freezer full of venison. My awesome father in law shot a deer and we had it processed. I will be so happy to have all that meat in the fridge!

I hope you enjoyed this little update. Hopefully there will be more to come.
